Misted Up Double Glazing
Here at Stevenage Glass, we can help you combat misted windows by replacing the glass with our specially manufactured glass that is less likely to steam up and can be properly sealed.
Misted double glazing compromises the efficiency of your windows which, when ignored, can cause:
- Heat to escape from the property
- Your energy bills to rise
- Mould to form
All of this can be a hazard to your health if damp and mould fill the air in the room, which is why it’s important to have this problem fixed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Double Glazing Condensation
If you have condensation on the outside or your glass unit, or even on the inside of the unit, this is fine. Condensation is usually caused by the weather outside, or moisture inside the property, like steam from a bathroom. But if you have condensation in-between the glass panes, this means there is an issue.
Do not let failed units aggravate you – contact our dedicated repairs team, who can supply you with quality panes of glass to make mist in your double glazing a thing of the past.
Visit our dedicated repairs site for more information, or send over your details with this contact form.
Please note: Stevenage Glass Repairs do not work with the double glazing frame, just the double glazing unit. But we can put you in touch with someone if requested.
Q: Do you offer a measuring service for glass products?
If you have accepted our quote and are happy to go ahead, we will come and take exact measurements to allow for a precise fit. However, if we are not fitting your product, we don’t tend to come out to measure up. Contact us for more information. You can also view our comprehensive measuring guides for splashbacks, balustrades, shower screens and secondary glazing
Q: Do you offer a delivery and fitting service for glass products?
Yes, we offer a delivery and fitting service. Please see our map for further details on the areas we deliver to. Please note: a delivery driver is different to a glazier, so please let us know if you require fitting services from us when ordering, therefore we can send the appropriate people out to you.
Q: Do you offer an emergency glazing and repair service?
Yes we offer an emergency service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our emergency services includes glazing repairs, replacements and boarding up. Please see our map for the areas we cover.
